Business Insurance Arbitration: Analyze First

Filed under: First Insurance Articles — bmg001 @ 3:24 am

Generally, business insurance arbritration involves some sort of understanding between two or more individuals or entities to submit a legal dispute for decision with a qualified arbitrator or panel of arbitrators. After the submission of legal dispute, the arbitrator hears evidence from the parties concerned and gives a binding and final decision on the basis of evidence, with very limited chance of right to appeal.

Recent years have seen tremendous increase in the the use of arbitration by big and small businesses as well as individual litigations. According to one estimate, approximately 35 states (including the District of Columbia) have accepted the Uniform Arbitration Act. The remaining states all enforce arbitration agreements and certify arbitration awards as judgments if one party demands it.

Analysis is Necessary:

One can’t deny the advantages of arbitration of disputes in issues like employment disputes, government contracts, number of product liability matters, domestic matters and other contexts. However, it is very tricky especially for business firms to assume that arbitration is the best solution in every circumstance.

It is the responsibility of the business firms to fully analyze all the benefits and the shortcomings of arbitration prior to entering into arbitration. Although the view may sound bit boring, but one must take into account the arbitration centrifuge that has continued to separate number of firms and individuals from the court system. It is advisable that you don’t let your business get effected by all these.

There are lot of advantages associated with the “arbitration clauses” in contracts and agreements. Not only they gives you an option of settling a dispute in less time, but also is less expensive when compared to utilizing the courts and lawyers. The most general arbitration clause is that the parties having the disagreement contract with an individual to act as an arbitrator.

It is very important that the arbitrator be acceptable to both parties as this can have a significant impact. Fact remains that a number of arbitration clauses emphasize that the decision of the arbitrator is final or that the arbitration is “binding arbitration”. Where there are entities, such as business firms involved in the issue rather than individuals the arbitration clause may give permission for each entity to choose a person to represent them and those two individuals then choose a third, again highlighting the point that the arbitration is usually binding. All parties involved in the dispute normally pay for the costs involved with implementing the arbitration equally. Though, arbitration clauses can have a saying on different structure to the terms of payment of any disputes.

Crazy motorcycle tires

Filed under: First Insurance Videos — bmg001 @ 1:07 am

Thank you for your time and thank you for watching. As you may already know, Rhinotire is the best and the most efficient tire protection technology in the world. It is much superior than all other competitors like RUNFLAT or liquid sealers because seals multiple punctures automatically with NO need to replace the tire after puncture – unlike the expensive Runflats, Rhinotire does not affect balance, does not mess up rims or sensors. It is the dream come thru for the bikers and racers. The only down side is that the process of making a regular tire to a Rhinotire is complicated and requires special equipment. In that equipment a special polymer (RhinoPlex) is heated up to a very high temperature, and then sprayed evenly inside a spinning tire. After cooling off, the tire becomes Rhinotire. The polymer will not pill, leak, freeze or move; it will seal the punctures automatically without air leak even from multiple punctures in the same spot, will not affect the balance, will make the tire safer and will reduce the noise by 30%. The opportunities for Rhinotire applications are very lucrative. After building RESULTS, he is the person more than anyone else who has brought microcredit into focus across the world and precipitated action. Why Buy RV Rental Insurance?

Filed under: First Insurance Articles — bmg001 @ 10:55 pm

Many people choose to rent recreational vehicles (RVs) to use while on vacation. Some of the time, these rental RVs can be covered through the driver’s auto insurance policy. The way to do this is to first obtain an Insurance Binder/Endorsement from the auto insurance provider. Next, the RV rental agency must be added to the auto insurance policy as an “additionally insured” and a “loss payee.” There are many limits and complications to this option. Many drivers find that this coverage is not adequate and choose to purchase additional coverage through the rental agency. This is often a better option because it is less complicated and provides more comprehensive coverage. RV rental insurance is usually very reasonably priced and is most often secured through MBA Insurance.

It is a good idea for RV renters to purchase additional RV rental insurance. This covers the renter if there are damages to the RV, or if the RV damages other vehicles or property. The fact that most RV renters do not regularly drive RVs makes rental insurance a particularly good idea. RV rental insurance can usually be purchased from the RV rental agency for a reasonable daily fee. The fee varies depending on the rental agency and the particular model of RV. Insurance for smaller RVs starts around $15 per day, with medium sized RVs often costing $20 a day, and the largest models costing $25 daily. It is usually a good idea for renters to purchase Supplemental Liability Insurance. This insurance usually costs about $10 a day and provides the renter with liability protection up to one million dollars.

Most RV rental agencies provide insurance through MBA Insurance. MBA is the top name in RV rental insurance and has provided its services since 1978. MBA protects both renters and the rental agencies. Their policies save the rental agencies money by insuring the renters and keeping costs low for the rental agency. MBA Insurance provides the renter with full coverage, including liability up to a million dollars, collision, uninsured motorist, and comprehensive. Most RV renters choose to purchase this insurance through the RV rental agency, but it can also be obtained through the renter’s auto insurance company in many cases.

RV rental insurance covers the renter for most road-related damages and liability. Most RV rental insurance doesn’t cover the interior of the recreational vehicle. Renters must be especially careful with the appliances and furniture in the RV, as those items are not usually covered by insurance.

Boehner on Meet the Press: “This Fight is Not Lost Yet”

Filed under: First Insurance Videos — bmg001 @ 7:47 pm

In an appearance this morning on NBCs Meet the Press, House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) previewed the partisan vote expected on the Democrats government takeover of health care. Boehner said that the American people want no part of this bill and have soundly rejected the $500 billion in tax increases and over $500 billion in Medicare cuts that will bankrupt our country. Boehner noted that Republicans, all year long, have offered common-sense reforms that will lower health care costs, and said that if this bill ever passes, Republicans will take action to repeal the Democrats government takeover of health care and replace it with real reforms. Lastly, Boehner commented on Republicans efforts to win back the Majority of the House to renew the fight for a smaller, less costly, more accountable government. Following are excerpts and full video of Boehners interview: BOEHNER ON PUSHING A MASSIVE GOVT TAKEOVER OF HEALTH CARE ON A PARTISAN VOTE: You have to think about this, 54 speeches by the President of the United States over the last year, a years conversation with the American people, and theyve been heavily engaged in this conversation for nine months. The Senate bills been out there now for three months and yet, after all of this hand wringing, all of this debate, millions of Americans upset on both sides of this debate, were about to make this historic change on a purely partisan vote. And I think if the American people stay engaged in this fight for the next

Home Insurance And Swimming Pools

Filed under: First Insurance Articles — bmg001 @ 6:29 pm

Does home insurance cover a swimming pool? Whether you have a pool, are buying a home with a pool, or plan to install a pool it’s important to make sure you have the right insurance protection. Here are some things to consider.

First of all, what does a typical homeowner insurance policy cover? It provides coverage for:

Your actual home, which is referenced as “the dwellingAdjacent structures, such as sheds Personal possessionsLiability

Coverage needs for your swimming pool would fall under “structures” and “liability.”

Coverage for structures is often a percentage of the coverage for your dwelling. This covers damage but there are often limits as to what a home insurance company will cover. If you are adding a swimming pool, this percentage may not be enough — especially if you have other structures on your property like a workshop or gazebo. Let your agent know that you may need additional coverage.

Liability is the bigger concern for both the homeowner and the insurance company. Liability coverage provides protection in case someone sues you for bodily injury or property damage that you, a family member or a pet caused. In the case of a swimming pool, this could be a lawsuit for injury or death that occurs in or around your pool. You should consider increasing your liability coverage if you have a pool.

It’s a good idea to take steps to make your pool safer, establish safety rules for family and friends, and be able to prevent children from getting near it unsupervised.

Of course, having a swimming pool and increasing your coverages can cause you to pay more for your home insurance. Consider shopping around to find the best rates and premiums. Get at least three different quotes for comparison. And be sure to ask and fully understand the coverages you get with a policy before you buy.

Best Renter’s Insurance – Affordable Home Renters Insurance Tips

Filed under: First Insurance Articles — bmg001 @ 5:28 pm

Being a tenant is obviously different from being the land lord or house owner. The insurance coverage for home owners and renters are also very different. Many tenants will need to get their renters insurance policy up and running for their own safety.

It is no news that the home owner will most likely have a coverage policy running for the house, so what happens to the electronics, furniture and document properties of the tenants in the case of a fire or burglary? For a tenant without renters insurance coverage, your guess is as good as mine.
For renters, we have two major types of insurance coverage or policies.

The first one is home renters insurance and the second is home content insurance.

Home renter insurance provides targeted coverage for the properties of the policy holder only, any other person living in that house is not covered. The policy holder may decide to collect cash value for the lost items or could simply decide that a replacement will work better. These are the choices available to the home renters’ insurance policy holder.

Home content insurance covers the properties inside the rented home that is owned by a member of the home not necessarily the person named in the coverage. In this type of coverage, lost items are replaced using ceiling limits provided by the insurance companies. If the claims exceed these limits, the excess is shaved aside by the insurance company and hence not considered.

For renters that need coverage immediately, the sure and fastest way is to use the internet. Millions go online for coverage solutions daily.
